By downloading, installing, or using Forge ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users of Forge, whether you are within your free trial period or a paid subscriber.
Forge is a habit-tracking app that requires a photo as proof of completing each habit. Each photo is analysed by an AI vision model to verify that the habit was actually performed. Your photo history forms a visual record of your consistency over time.
New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all Pro features. The trial requires no payment information and does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. When the trial ends, continued use of the App requires a paid subscription — you are never charged unless you actively purchase one.
After the trial, optional paid subscriptions unlock full access to all features:
| Plan | Price |
|---|---|
| Monthly | $6.99 / month |
| Yearly | $34.99 / year |
Forge does not offer a free tier. New users receive the 7-day free trial described in Section 3. After the trial ends, an active paid subscription is required to continue using the App. You are never charged unless you actively purchase a subscription, and the trial never automatically converts into one.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at gaosangthong+forgesupport@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Forge.
You retain ownership of all content you create within Forge, including the photos you take and any free-text content you write — such as your per-habit "why" notes and your daily reflections (mood, rating, notes, and prompts). By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to store and process this content solely for the purpose of providing the service — specifically, to run AI verification, to save your habits and progress, and to display your history back to you.
You are responsible for the content you enter, and you agree not to store unlawful content or content you do not have the right to provide. We do not sell your content, share it with other users, or use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.
Habit verification photos are sent to an AI vision service (OpenAI) at the moment of verification to determine whether the photo shows the habit being completed. By using Forge, you consent to this processing. Photos are subject to OpenAI's standard API data retention period and are not used by OpenAI to train its models; see our Privacy Policy for details. This also applies to habits whose photos are deleted from Forge's storage after verification (e.g. Drink Water, Take Vitamins) — those photos are still processed by OpenAI before deletion. Forge cannot guarantee that the AI will always make the correct determination — verification decisions may occasionally be inaccurate.
You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Forge is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs. The AI verification feature is provided as a best-effort tool and is not guaranteed to be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kulpat Sangthong shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Forge, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Forge at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us at gaosangthong+forgesupport@gmail.com.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
Binding Arbitration. Except for disputes that qualify for small claims court, you and Forge agree to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App through binding individual arbitration rather than in court. This applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Class Action Waiver. YOU AND FORGE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of a class or representative proceeding.
Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, available at www.adr.org. Arbitration will take place in Los Angeles, California, or at your option by telephone or video conference. Forge will pay all AAA filing, administrative, and arbitrator fees for claims under $10,000, unless the arbitrator finds your claim frivolous.
Small Claims Exception. Either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court in Los Angeles County, California instead of arbitration.
Opt-Out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing gaosangthong+forgesupport@gmail.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your message must include your name, your Forge account email, and a clear statement that you are opting out. Opting out does not affect any other provision of these Terms.
Jury Trial Waiver. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND FORGE WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A TRIAL IN FRONT OF A JUDGE OR JURY. This waiver does not apply where arbitration is prohibited by law.
Severability. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable for any claim, that claim will proceed in court and both parties waive their right to a jury trial for it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
